Jewar में बनने वाले Greenfield International Airport Project में अब और तेजी आने वाली है। इस Project के Developer Zurich Airport International AG और Noida International Airport Limited के बीच अब 7 अक्टूबर को Contract किया जाएगा। यह आयोजन UP Govt की मौजूदगी में होगा। अभी यह तय होना है कि Contact Program Lucknow में होगा या Noida में।
Civil aviation department के विशेष सचिव सुरेंद्र सिंह ने 7 अक्टूबर को Contract किए जाने की पुष्टि की है। असल में Jewar Airport निर्माण के लिए पहले अप्रैल में ही Contract होना था। लेकिन Corona काल में International Flights बंद हो गईं। इस कारण Zurich Airport International AG के प्रतिनिधि नहीं आ सके।
पिछले दिनों Video Conferrancing में Civil aviation department के अपर मुख्य सचिव एसपी गोयल ने Zurich Airport के सीईओ Daniel Bitcher को Special Flight से अक्टूबर में आने का Invitation दिया। Airport के लिए केंद्र व UP के तमाम विभागों की NOC मिल चुकी है। Contract हो जाने के बाद Airport का Construction शुरू हो जाएगा।
